PHOTO-GALLERY

That small facial profile (in the modified picture on the HOME page) is a modification of the 'head shot' above, which was taken (for use on the BIC website, see WEBSITES) in November 2000. It was altered (for the HOME page of this website) for several reasons, including the facts that it does not matter what Webmaster looks like and Webmaster only looked like the picture above at the time that picture was taken. In fact, in the same sense that Webmaster was becoming Webmaster when the picture (above) was taken, he was becoming Webmaster long before that and has continued becoming. In fact, he will continue becoming until he reaches the bottom line (death). So his visage has been in a constant state of change - which is obvious!

What was not obvious to Webmaster when he began constructing this website is that it could subserve some additional useful purposes above and beyond the primary one(s) for which it was created. And one of them is to hold a photo album. This will be useful to Webmaster and perhaps to others, albeit much less so, which is why Webmaster has buried the photo-gallery so deeply in this website and has not listed it as one of the main sections. In fact the only way to reach this is via the link at the bottom of the BACKGROUND page and the only ways to get back to that page easily is by using the back arrow of your browser or by clicking here. [To get back to this photo-gallery page from each of the subsidiary pages (see below) use the back arrow of your browser.]

The remainder of this photo-gallery is constructed in a rather straightforward manner. It is arranged in decades, and in each decade there are a few 'head shots', of the same size as the photo at the top of the page. Each head shot is linked (click on the photo) to a full page showing the picture from which the head shot was taken (to provide context) and a brief description of the context of the picture (in Webmaster's life). Context is important (or so it seems to Webmaster). [There is no full size picture of the head shot at the top of the page, or rather the head shot was the full picture because the photograph was taken of Webmaster sitting at his desk in the office of the Director of the BIC (see the WEBSITES page) and the context was to show that the BIC Director took his job seriously and was thinking about it.]
